Most densely populated city

According to the ninth annual edition of the Demographia World Urban Areas, published in March 2013, Dhaka in Bangladesh has a population estimated at 14,399,000 people, living in an area of around 324 km² (125 miles²). This results in a population density of 44,500 citizens per km² (115,250 citizens per mile²).
